How to Set Up OctaSpace & $OMOM

Add the OctaSpace network to MetaMask and import the OMOM token — step by step.

1. Add OctaSpace Network to MetaMask

Before you can hold $OMOM on OctaSpace, MetaMask must know about the network.

Steps in MetaMask (desktop or mobile)

Open MetaMask and unlock your wallet.

Click the network dropdown at the top (it may say “Ethereum Mainnet”).

Click Add network (or “Add a network manually” / “Add custom network”).

Fill in the fields using the table above, then click Save.

Switch to OctaSpace from the network list. Your balance will show in OCTA (gas token).
Tip: You can also add the network from chainlist.org/chain/800001 by connecting MetaMask and clicking Add to MetaMask.

2. Add $OMOM via scan.octa.space (Recommended)

The block explorer can add the token to MetaMask with one click.

Easiest method Uses official explorer

Make sure MetaMask is on the OctaSpace network.

Open the explorer: https://scan.octa.space

Search for the OMOM token (by name or contract address) in the search bar.
Alternatively open: https://scan.octa.space/token/0xf810221D9c61Fd2b0bC819E758d940805901f297

On the token page, look for a button such as:
  • Add token to MetaMask
  • Add to MetaMask (Web3)
  • MetaMask fox icon under “More” / token actions
(Exact label may vary slightly on Blockscout-based explorers.)

MetaMask will open a popup. Confirm Add token. $OMOM should now appear in your asset list on the OctaSpace network.
Important: Only use the official OMOM contract address from verified Octamom channels (website, Discord, X). Fake tokens can appear on explorers with similar names.

3. Add $OMOM Manually in MetaMask

Use this if the explorer button is missing or you prefer full control.

Switch MetaMask to the OctaSpace network.

On the main wallet screen, open your token list:
  • Desktop: click Import tokens (or Assets → Import token)
  • Mobile: Tokens tab → Import tokens / “+”

Choose Custom token (not the search tab).

Enter:
  • Token contract address — paste the official OMOM address
  • Symbol — should auto-fill as OMOM (or type it)
  • Decimals — usually 18

Tap Next → Import. $OMOM will show in your OctaSpace token list.
Where to get the contract address: Official Octamom website, Discord announcements, or the verified token page on scan.octa.space. Never trust addresses sent in DMs.

Security: Octamom admins will never ask for your seed phrase or private keys. Bookmark official links and double-check URLs before connecting your wallet.
